  • The Beeswax Wrap Co

Handmade in The Cotswolds, from locally sourced beeswax or in the case of their vegan wraps a plant based wax, organic jojoba oil, natural pine resin and organic GOTS certified cotton.

The wraps are a great alternative to using cling film and tinfoil, they don’t leach any harmful chemicals into your food and help towards cutting down on plastic ending up in landfill sites and our oceans.

The Beeswax Wrap Co and The Vegan Food Wrap Co work with local designers to create beautiful bespoke patterns that will appeal to a wide audience.

100% natural - Compared to cling film these wraps are all natural so no nasty chemicals will leach into your food whilst it’s being stored.

Super clean - The beeswax and pine resin give these wraps natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties

Keeps your food super fresh - The combination of natural ingredients with the 100% cotton fabric allows the wraps to breath, making sure your food stays fresh and tasty. No more dry bread ends or sweaty cheese.

Clingy but in a good way - Pine resin gives the wraps a natural adhesive making sure your food is sealed tight, the warmth from your hands helps mould the wraps to give a strong seal.

Reusable - Rather than using cling film or foil that you throw away after one use, these wraps can simply be washed in cold water with a little bit of soap and they are ready to roll again. After a month or so just pop them in the oven to re pasteurise them and off you go again.

Biodegradable - Once you have used your wrap to the max you can pop it on your compost!

  • Size Tips

Here's a summary of the sizes available with a few top ideas on how you can make the most of them:

Small (20cm x 20cm) Available in most of the pack combos, the small wrap is great for covering smaller fruit and vegetables like lemons, onion, ginger and avocados. Also, use to open difficult jars, as a cover for lidless containers, or for covering a slice of cake to take on a trip!

Medium (30cm x 30cm) A really versatile size - perfect for covering dishes, wrapping sandwiches and making pouches for storing salad and snacks. Also, great for covering our smaller fresh vegetables to keep them fresh for longer.

Large (40cm x 40cm) Use this lovely large wrap for keeping small loaves, leafy greens, and vegetables like celery, broccoli and cauliflower fresh for longer. The size is also great for covering casserole dishes, or even transforming into a plastic-free piping bag!

Extra Large (50cm x 50cm) This used to be called the bread wrap because, yes, you guessed it does the job brilliantly of covering a full sized loaf and keeping it fresh for over a week!  It also has many other brilliant uses too, such as wrapping leafy greens, making a supersized pouch for collecting pasta from your local plastic-free store, and for rolling pastry on!
