Tiny Garden + Ecoffee Cup
Inspired by life in urban parks and private gardens the world over, the Tiny Garden + Ecoffee Cup collection is a celebration of nature in the big city. Hidden courtyards, roof-top oases, private and public parks and gardens – all providing green respite for people and animals alike.
Fresh-faced and bold, Tiny Garden was created by Netherlands-based designer Maria Vashchuck as a visual diary of her very own urban garden experience in Amsterdam.
Each year, more than 100 billion single-use cups go to landfill.
Created with the world’s fastest growing, most sustainable crop – bamboo fibre, Ecoffee Cup is BPA and phthalate free.
The Ecoffee Cup feels a bit like thick, yet super-light cardboard; hard to believe it can hold hot liquids.
And because bamboo fibre is naturally sterile, Ecoffee Cup is lovely to drink from and won’t flavour-taint your drinks.
Ecoffee Cup is made with bamboo fibre, corn starch and binder (melamine). Decals are paper-based and use a variety of organic and conventional pigments to ensure both colour-fastness and suitability for purpose. All products comply with LFGB food contact regulations (EC) No.10/ 2011 and (EC) No. 1935/ 2004. They are BPA, BPS-free.
Sleeves, lids and stoppers are made from pure silicone – which consists of synthesised silica (sand) and oxygen. They are BPA, BPS, phthalate and latex-free and suitable for temperatures up to +120˚C.
The whole product (cup, lid and sleeve) is dishwasher safe and should last for years if you treat it nicely; of course it can break if you treat it roughly and it is not suitable for microwave use.
Ecoffee Cup. Have Fun. Do Good. #Stopthe100Billion
What do I do with my Ecoffee Cup when I’m finished with it?
Ecoffee believe in taking responsibility for everything we create, that’s why we have closed the loop with Terrcycle to ensure none of our product components end up as part of the consumer waste culture that they set out to help tackle.
So you can return all elements of the product (packaging, broken Cup or silicone components) to Ecoffee to be professionally composted, recycled or re-purposed. It couldn’t be easier to do.
